Ashby Road

Utilising the Ivas Classico the Ashby Road site has now been completed using EPS insulation onto a rail system. Approved contractors Repex completed the project early this year. The building is finished in a half brick, half render detail, which is visually pleasing.

Harpur Hill University of Derby

The University's sports facility at Harpur Hill, in Buxton, has undergone a £1.5m refurbishment using Ivas TermoK8 Render system.

The facility, used by Buxton Campus students, closed in June 2010 to allow work to go ahead. Ready to be finished early 2011.

Contractor Vinci Construction Plc is behind the project and commented on the performace of the Ivas Render System supplied. Despite difficult weather conditions throughout the installation the Render performed superbly and provided a refreshing facade for the existing building.

The refurbishment of Harpur Hill provides 1,300 square metres of space, including:

• a new look sports hall
• improved changing rooms
• state of the art outside climbing wall
• new roof and external rendering for the facility
• three new classrooms

The successful installation and end result of the Ivas Render System shows the products ability to perform on many different kinds of buildings throughout the UK.

Ramada Hotel Leicester

Undergoing a major refurbishment, The Ramada Hotel is another site using Ivas TermoK8.

As a render only project the building will be finished in a Superquartz finish applied onto specialist basecoats to suit the various substrates. In the Centre of Leicester the new 115 bedroom hotel promises to be a focal point for the Charles Street redevelopment, and is an important scheme, demonstrating the breadth of different systems that Ivas is capable of manufacturing. The £5M project is being built by Bowen PLC and London based Pensons are the Architects.

Nottingham Forrest Training Academy

Following a substantial investment Nottingham Forrest have invested in further development at its Wilford Road Training ground. Using the Ivas Render Only System the system was chosen over its competition as the Rivatone Plus has been tested for its abilities to resist mold and algae growth which has been experienced in the past using other render systems. The installation was carried out by Repex, an approved installer, and the result of the installation is an impressive looking, state of the art facility. Architects for this scheme were Newark based Benoy.
