In addition to the series of standard support systems and cladding products available, many projects require components to be designed, manufactured and installed to meet the individual architectural objectives.
Aliva delivers fully custom designed and developed solutions that are as unique as the original architectural concept.
Recent developments include;
- Customised structural support system for the Dakota Aviator Hotel, addressing floor to floor spans over 4 metres, cladding zones up to 600mm and enhanced wind loads
- Customised designs developed for Newcastle Hospital to cater for natural stone installation over 100Kg per sqm based on floor spans of 3 to 5 metres with no backing wall
- Design detailing for the IBCC Olympic Village, Stratford 2012
- Development of a ventilated mechanical carrier and firebreak system for our range of insulated renders currently in accreditation with the UK BBA.
- Development of a unique steel structures to support the ellipsoidal sun break system of the La Scala Opera House
- Customised structures for glass panels and woven mesh for the Polyclinic Maggiore
- Development of structural drawings and fixing systems for the stone cladding to Arlington House, London on behalf of Domus Facades
Aliva not only develops these systems but can offer a full in-house testing regime and externally accredited testing through its Instituto Giordano, conveniently located next to the company headquarters and a leader in the field of performance testing for rainscreen and envelope solutions.
