Services - Design
Based upon outline architectural objectives, a dedicated Design Team draws up plans based around either standard or bespoke systems. Ideally we are engaged at early planning stages in collaboration with the designers, architects and subsequently with the main contractor. However it is sometimes necessary to resolve critical design issues even at the installation phase, this is where the integration of our group companies and services provide the added value, quickly manufacturing and providing just-in-time project solutions.
Projects are designed in accordance with:
- The architectural concept
- The cladding materials that make up the envelope
- Prevailing country standards
- The cladding structure suited to the building frame whether wood, steel, SFS or concrete.
- Optimisation of the structural layout
- Building position and location
- Working drawings
Our design services are fully covered by appropriate (PI) insurance policies.
