To work with the developer Allenbuild to put a shimmering, luxurious finish on a 14-storey development of contemporary private sale and rental apartments at Railway Terrace, Slough. The aim was to quickly revive a construction project that had lain dormant for two years, due to external issues. It was essential that the façade reflected the internal finish on the apartments - in a desirable location with views of Windsor Castle - to meet the aspirations of target buyers.
What we did
Aliva supplied powder coated panels of Alucovering aluminium in three stunning shades for the building, which Allenbuild had rescued having revitalised the project. The developer employed its own installation team, using our aluminium cladding and benefiting from its flexible design, fixed by special clips to the T profile, using rivets.
What makes it special
Alucovering’s aluminium powder coated or anodised profiles can be used utilising stock profiles, or bespoke extrusions. This enables it to mirror the standard of the facing panels, allowing it to dovetail with the project design and present a pleasing and smart aesthetic quality. The system offers optimal resistance to corrosion and a longevity which will enable the apartments to retain their stylish characteristics for a long time into the future.
